I was born and raised in Maryland until I made the trek out to San Francisco in 2006 for Grad School. It’s odd that I ended up in San Francisco when I did because my family later told me that my father moved out to San Francisco at around the same age and I found out I actually lived a couple streets away in the Haight District. I found this all out after I moved here too. Strange since I never even knew he had been here…

My interests include sports, music (alternative, indie, folk, progressive), exploring, and POLITICS. I left one political hotbed in the country (DC/MD) for another. And I suppose I take after my mother with supporting such organizations as MoveOn.org, Green Peace, the Humane Society and fighting for what I believe in no matter what. She’s a brave woman- Second female firefighter in the country- and has always been outspoken about her beliefs and what is right.

If I could do it all over again, I would. I know people say, “I have no regrets,” But I don’t buy that. Well maybe they don’t. But I do. I would go into politics and honestly make changes. Corny, I know. People call me an idealist and to change my outlook on life, but I couldn’t imagine it any other way… Should this be in a BIO? Perhaps not… But it is. I may not know exactly where I’m going professionally at the moment, but I do know this- family and friends always have and always will be the most important part of my life.
